KingDave The Movie Guy
I maintain a work culture and not an ethnic or religious culture.
If my people work hard, communicate well, respect others, take initiative, etc, I don’t care where they’re from or what religion they practice. I have an employee who tries to excuse her bad behavior by saying I just don’t understand her culture. That doesn’t jive with me, and I doubt everyone from her culture would do the bad things she does.

I appreciate diversity for the different perspectives it gives, but there’s a balance. If you lean too hard on culture or diversity, you’re creating problems for yourself and your team. You may not see it but you may be robbing your team of reaching its potential by not being diverse at all.
