My uncle was Airborne in WWII. Never talked about it. I only found out
at his funeral.
Awhile after my uncle's funeral I saw that my dad had reloading supplies for a .45 pistol. I asked him why. Well, that's what my uncle carried in WWII.
I can't imagine the bravery of jumping out of a plane to go fight.
