Actually I think just the opposite..
... his system requires guys to get old together and have time in the system to master the individual decision making that needs to happen in concert simultaneously with all five guys on the floor. It requires a hive mind and that's not easy to accomplish with a lot of one-and-done type Talent

We saw what happened in the previous season at BYU where we had rotations on the floor with three guys running Pope system and two guys off freelancing doing their own thing. It doesn't work and you could tell it was frustrating for Pope trying to manage that.

Kentucky has so much individual talent it's hard to corral all those guys and get them to work together in a system like Pope has. I think that's a big reason why Calipari left for a lesser job.
