When we were in the WAC, MWC, and WCC/Independent we paid our coaches as much or more than our conference mates. It should be public knowledge, and understood that BYU's commitment when they joined the Big12 was that they were going to compete in every way with our new set of peers. That means being willing to pay coaches the going rate at least. We'll probably never be a top 5 or 10 place for salary, but we won't be in the bottom 10 either.
