Mostly USD. They usually give you change in local in small currency. No coins.
Then I use the local currency to buy water, treats, entry fees, etc. I had my driver buy stuff and then I reimbursed her at the end.

Downside of Lebanon is that it’s ALL cash. ATMs = total rip-off. They take $$.
