This is the reason NIL is so bad right now.

Universities do not want to share in the spoils more than they have to. Many universities are already in the red. Paying players directly would exacerbate their problems. Fans need to keep pushing back on paying to NIL organizations.

I think it great for players to get paid but this isn’t the way to do it.
