concepts of foreign foods can be just as good or better than the authentic stuff. I often laugh at the authentic cuisine snobs that pass up very good food because it isn't "authentic." Anyone who served a foreign mission knows that there is a lot of "authentic" food that is better fed to your dog. I am just fine with American innovation that provides a different, but tasty take on the foreign cuisine. I put it in a different category. If I want authentic, I find the best authentic. If I want taste, I consider Americanized options as well. I'm not talking about the fast food versions, I'm talking quality restaurants that serve Americanized takes.
