Then you want a 'dumb' sprinkler system.
Or.. get a Rachio. which, imho, is one of the oldest and most robust systems around. Many of us have had one for over a decade with no issues.

Main advantage for Bhyve over Rachio is you can manually program it if needed

You can program the rachio from a phone or computer.. and its 100x easier than programing other machines directly
