I have 3 issues with cars
1) It just takes time to pick them up and drop them off.
2) You have to park them which is a hassle...and can be costly if you have to park at your hotel over night.
3) Tickets. Driving is not hard, but you can easily drive somewhere you were not supposed to and get a ticket.
I think the biggest reason to go with a car is the flexibility.
