pill to swallow to see how much is wasted. I actually don't mind paying taxes. I mind how little good our tax money accomplishes. There are exceptions of course. But even in the military there is a lot of waste. I speak from personal experience. Oddly enough, soldier pay and benefits aren't one of them...

Besides, I just lost a contract and am attempting to change careers. I fully expect to be completely broke for the next 2-3 years as I return to school. Money can't make up for HATING my job.
