We've taken all our kids to swimming lessons at the Scera pool in the Orem. It's $35 per kid for a two-week session (every week day for the 2 weeks). The lessons are in the summer, and we have done it for each child for 2 years.

All my kids older kids are good swimmers. My 4-year-old does ok.

I would argue that some structured swimming lessons are a really good idea. The reason is, even with the best of intentions, parents have a hard time actually DOING the lessons with the kids.
