town and was appalled at the housing costs for students there, grungy dirty places for students were more expensive than a lot of the nice places in Provo. The overall housing market in that town was less expensive than Provo overall, so it wasn't that housing was more expensive across the board. At the next university I worked at I saw the same thing, it wasn't as bad as the first place, but still things were much more expensive for students there than they are at BYU.
