Are you reading yourself??
Bottom line: If I'm going the speed limit, I belong in whichever lane I please when on the road. The designation "slower traffic" is for those going sub-limit and they rightfully belong only in the right lane or center lanes. There are no considerations for those exceeding the speed limit unless they are aid cars responding to a call or otherwise "in the line of duty". Absent those situations, even aid car drivers are to obey the posted speed limit.
You nailed it when you correctly observed that law-abiding drivers shouldn't have to alter their course or behavior to accommodate law-breaking drivers. You then promptly contradicted yourself, logic and fact by continuing to assert that speeders deserve special access to the left lane and are somehow "caring" more about other drivers and helping the flow of traffic when they exceed the speed limit, none of which is logical or factually correct.
