How many opportunities did USF have to win that game? A few of those free throws looked like they might crack the glass or dent the rim. They had possession on four or five different occasions with a chance to take the lead and didn't do it. That would have been a big win for his program not to mention sweet payback for getting crushed in San Francisco.
I'm one of the few on here that likes Walters. He is tough and hyper-competitive. They just don't seem to have the same fire since Cody Doolin walked away. Walters probably has too much Bob Knight in him. It is like a revolving door there with assistant coaches and players. He is probably too intense to be a head coach.
