Somebody that guards bigs, brings down 8 Reb/game, a block, a steal, an assist
is not borderline. He's not going to make anyone's dream team don't get me wrong, but the guy can play and would have made BYU 3/4 games better this year had he been healthy. And, I think the guy has more offense than he shows but for whatever reason (either the coaches have asked him not to push it or because of this offense and the focus on TH and others or he has decided himself to sacrifice the offense, whatever reason). And you're right, he does all the hustle work for the team. That is not a bust but a key contributing player and one I missed seeing this year and hope he'll play next year.
Now, if we had a reasonably good/seasoned big like a Mika or a more seasoned Kafusi, Austin would be the perfect guy to compliment either at a 4 on offense or a 5 on defense (to keep the others out of foul trouble) or coming off the bench to play key minutes.
