all time favorites and it is hard to see that his time is probably short. I remember back in about 1983, the MC was rockin with about 22700 fans, who were enjoying a great battle between SDSU and BYU. IIRC, an upset by SDSU could cost BYU the conference championship. Durrant was averaging about 30 points per game, and Michael Cage was a monster in the paint and dominated the inside, averaging double digit rebounds IIRC. The officiating was the worst ever in the history of the MC, and at one point the entire arena was booing the refs as loud as it has ever been at that venue. It was really incredible and an electric atmosphere. Late in the game, with the entire arena booing at about a billion decibels, I looked across at the front row where President Oaks (I think) was sitting with several of his GA guests including Elder Perry. I burst into laughter at the sight of Elder Perry with his program rolled up around his mouth yelling. I'm pretty sure he was yelling at everybody to get their act together and show some respect to the refs ..LOL. I should also mention that I think he is also an Aggie fan but I seriously doubt that he would cheer for the U.
