BYU and Utah played each other and the game ended in a tie. Rather than going into a traditional overtime, the teams decided to postpone until Monday night so people could make it part of family home evening. There were two periods. The first period consisted of playing "Australian" football, which turned out to be sort of like rugby. The second period consisted of the teams doing traditional Polynesian dances, with judges deciding who was best. BYU won both overtime contests and was crowned the winner.
Oh yeah, this all happened at Rice Eccles Stadium.
