Is where the 3 year old brother is too sick and weak to go with the rescue party so the 8 year old sister volunteeres to stay with him and the rest of the family leaves. I'm not a cryer but the thought of that brings tears to my eyes. Maybe it's because I have 2 kids those ages and I cannot imagine leaving them starving, cold and afraid in that circumstance.
Also the 18 month old wailing as she clung to her dead and half eaten mother was just overwhelming...I mean wow, what else can one say?
