I'm hardly proposing a brand-new concept here in wondering why a guy whose body clearly hasn't recovered was not given the redshirt year to do so.
Perhaps you're right. But if so, it means that what we've got from him this season will ultimately be better for him and BYU than what he may have produced following a fall season of strength and conditioning, which is apparently pretty needed.
