The 40 degree temp change from outside to inside was horrible. Walking outside into the devil's bunghole from a nice comfortable 70ish was like jumping into a pool of boiling water. And the searing hot pain in your legs makes getting in a car a miserable experience, even after getting a car with cloth seats and 5 years of living there. That was just Tucson, which is only slightly less miserable than the valley. I don't know how all the old people do it down there without dying early of heat exhaustion. You can keep your Arizona.
