One friend was a former navy fighter pilot and one a dentist in the process of getting his license.
Great game experience. Seats on second row, west stands at about 10 yard line. Everything was great until we were flying back and taking short sightseeing diversion flying over Bryce Canyon, at which point the engine sputtered and stalled. The two of us who were not pilots thought we were about to become a news story that night and prayers commenced. The Navy pilot was so cool and calm as he examined everything then reached down, flipped a switch and the engine jumped back to life.
He then just remarked "it was just time to switch tanks" ...I wondered why five minutes earlier wouldn't have been better, but it did result in a nice one minute come to Jesus self evaluation.
