past year. I keep wanting to hire you, but your loyalty is pathetic. Your efforts are pathetic. Demanding to make 6 figures within months of getting a job right out of UVU? Showing up to job interviews with your mother? Resumes are impressive, but when I test you on what's on there, I learn very quickly that most of you are frauds.
I enjoy your passion and I love your dreamer mentality, I like your optimistic view on humanity, but your generation bails the minute something becomes difficult. My customers hate dealing with you, my investors hate dealing with you..."arrogant, pompous, clueless, worthless, ignore my requests..." Every day I hear this stuff about those in my staff in this age range.
When a situation becomes intense or hard, you quit...100% of the time. Why don't you use google or Youtube to find an answer instead of text the boss during an inventor meeting that there is a "911" emergency because you can figure out where to locate Google Drive preferences?
Our education system is not preparing the Millennials to be value assets in our work force. Their tech skills are nonexistent, there is no ability to verbally communicate, problem solving skills are horrible, and the eagerness to stomp on your current boss to go to a 'cooler' place every 6 months is laughable.
If you think are better than my total generalization of Millennials and have half an ounce of technology experience, I'll give you a good paying job out of the gate in Utah right now.... A real-life, hard core experience in branding, technology, AI, Cloud programming, IT hardware communications...
If you can't handle logic and programming, finding a job in the future is going to be extremely difficult. I'm already replacing several of my staff with AI or labor from offshore. It's easier and they get the job done. I still have faith that there are some of you out there that are different. I am hoping some of you might be on CB?
