ESPN is not going bankrupt, the problem is shrinking profits
and Disney is the owner. ESPN is just a business unit.
They still generate over 2 billion income each year.

Let's say ESPN goes bankrupt. Would all their contracts be in question? Are there any lawyers on CB?

It depends on the bankruptcy and the contract.

Yes. They can leave behind any contracts they want in bankruptcy.

You mean if Disney goes bankrupt? Yeah, that's not going to happen.

I won't be the least bit surprised if we see an ESPN spin off though.

I'd be very surprised. It doesn't have the value it once had to support a spin off.
