The comment wasn't about some number. Kind of obvious why. Being that age without having stepped a foot in the industry yet raises huge questions about the passion and hunger and drive and readiness to be in the game. Not ever coming into the game the way most everyone does, earning their way up. If you can't see the red flags I don't know if you ever will. Chill on the "ageism" idea and read between the lines. There's a certain kind of person for this industry and you can usually tell the ones who aren't cut out for it. Guys who wait around for years and years until a sweet coordinator gig comes with high pay...
