Buttercream frosting using cream, vanilla and sugar vs. cheesecake using cream cheese, vanilla, eggs and sugar. The substitution of cream cheese adds body and form and and decreases sweetness the eggs adds a little lightness/rise, but is essentially a firm cream cheese frosting on graham cracker crust which is then baked.
