So my client walks in the office, sees my BYU stuff on the walls, etc, and says "hey, do you know who Ryan Kanashiro is?" I, of course, start to laugh because I can still remember where I was when I watched him nail the upright, thus wiping that smile off Ron McBride's face! He then tells me they worked together at the FAA. That's right, Kanashiro is doing well, living in Northern CA and he's an Air Traffic Controller working for the FAA! Again, I chuckle a little bit at that.

The best part of the story is that this client, who has no BYU connection at all, says some of the guys found out about his football past and they would frequently pull up the video on Youtube of him missing that field goal for all to see, just to tease him, saying, 'hey, you know that guy that missed that field goal'! Classic.
