Bronco likes to fill out classes early. He has 18 commits right now and that's the only reason UVA is up there. They aren't going to end close to that. And neither is BYU but do you think they, or Utah, or UCLA, or others really give a crap about team rankings, especially in August? It's about numbers. When you don't even have double digit commits, who gives a crap how low you are? When you're almost filled out, who cares how high you are?

And yeah, you're right about the top 25, but when you start getting into anywhere from high 30's and 40's to the 50's and 60's, team rankings don't mean as much. The difference between 10 spots can sometimes be two mid level 3 star recruits. But people will go crazy over one team finishing at 45 and one at 55. They also depend on the number of commits.

Oh and BTW, get used to lower team rankings. Not because of quality but because of numbers. I doubt you'll see BYU with a full 25 any time soon. And FYI... That's partly because of Bronco. He didn't necessarily leave the roster in great shape. The scholarship situation hasn't been very good since Sitake got here. They're trying to fix it.

Problem with CBers is they love to run over to Scout real quick and take a peek at that one number on team rankings, come back to CB and throw a fit. No idea what makes the ranking what it is and what it really means.

If you seriously think UVA is going to end close to 33, I have bad news for you.

Utah is at 110 right now and Boise is 109. Who cares.

You're not doing a good job at making a point unless it's to simply show the number of commits schools have in August. And if that's the case, we'd have to ask why.

And one last thing. Numbers aside, Virginia is SUPPOSED to be able to be higher than BYU in recruiting rankings. They're a P5 school in a recruiting hotbed. Don't act like he's doing something special there by filling out every single class with 3 star guys.
