fighting in practice and that manifested itself in games and in the brawl at the end of a bowl game. I saw obvious head hunting at the blowout 52-10 game. A Ute RB was injured via an obviously intentional gator roll to his leg in a pile-up (I saw the film). BYU has received national press for being a cheap shot team and Nebraska was furious at them (you may remember the out of bounds hit on the Nebraska TE that caused a knee injury). Having said all that, I don't think BYU was ever a particularly dangerous team and I don't think Sitake endorses any of that behavior. Utah players have done cheap shots also (recently and in the distant past). They have a db right now, Blair, who is a great hitter that has received several targeting penalties and everyone associated with the team is mad at him for it.
In summary, I think Ute fans that don't want to play BYU for safety reasons are overplaying the situation and I don't agree with them.
