Matt Wells had a very mediocre record at USU.  Most USU fans I've spoken with think that Gary Andersen will be an upgrade from Wells.

USU played a very weak schedule last year, which allowed USU to have a decent record and be ranked.   Matt Wells realized that this might be his only shot at moving up and he jumped at the Texas Tech job.

Mat Wells' record against winning programs his last 3 years at USU:  3-23.    

He won't last long.
