We found some left over food storage that included 10 MREs with the dates worn off a year or two ago. When we opened them they contained fun size M&M packs that had the Atlanta olympics mascot on them so had to be from 95 or 96. I tried several and they tasted like normal MREs expect for the crackers and bread which tasted rancid.
