18-22 year olds to do what you’ve been teaching them. You spend hundreds of hours gameplanning, watching film, and teaching these guys to follow your gameplan. And then you get to the biggest game of the season, and one of your players isn’t doing what you’ve been telling him to do all season.
If it’s a conversation about coaching styles, I’m with you. That’s not the way I think he should interact with players. But the guy gets paid millions of dollars to coach, and if that’s the way that it works for him, great.
