That’s happened to me before. Luckily a coworker bailed me out

Since then I promised myself I would help anyone out that was in that situation. Didn’t happen until a couple of months ago at LAX. A family at the Panda Express kept having their card declined. I jumped a few people in line and gave the worker my card. Felt pretty good and they gave me my meal for free. Will keep doing it.

Still carry some cash with you. Apple Pay and the like are still subject to most of the same issues that cards are.
