Agreed, I'm not suggesting that at all only that the savings rate of Americans
Is so bad and so many have mortgages way beyond their means, that having life insurance into their 60s is a very worthwhile consideration.
I am thankful every day of my life that I wake up and know that if I died today that my family will not have to ever worry about money because of life insurance and because my wife and I have committed to saving a solid percentage of our annual income.

It'd be more interesting to see who has supplemental life insurance above what is provided by an employer.
