I was doing consulting work at Warner Bros around 1998 when I first graduated
from college. We were building a software system to help them track what they licensed in theaters, cable, tv, etc. When we asked about putting it on the internet, we were told in very certain terms they would never, ever allow stuff to be shown on the internet no matter what the future held.

Turns out, times change and I have learned to never say never to anything.
