I think this is a good point to keep in mind.
I'm old enough that the only graduation ceremony held for me was HS and above.
There was no Kindergarten, Elementary, Jr. High, etc. Maybe in Jr. High I just didn't do anything to qualify to be included, but all of my kids have had a 9th grade "honors" dinner where they recognize kids for their achievements in a variety of activities and it sure seems like about he entire grade is there.
