I don't know for sure what Conley trade would entail, but let's assume that it's centered around Derrick Favors, Dante Exum, #23 pick this year, and maybe a future pick as well. That would leave the Jazz with somewhere around $10-15M or so in cap space depending on what happens with Kyle Korver. They're not going to get a star player and likely not anything close to an all-star or even borderline all-star for that amount, but they could get a solid role player/starter that can help contribute. I assume at that point they'd primarily be looking for a post player to replace Favors. Nikola Mirotic could possibly be available in that range and he's been linked to the Jazz in the past. Other possible options could include Ed Davis, Taj Gibson, Dewayne Dedmon, or Richaun Holmes. What they would NOT be getting in FA is a Khris Middleton / Bojan Bogdanovic / Malcolm Brogdon level of player.
Let's say they sign Mirotic for somewhere in that range. They end up with a starting lineup as follows:
Mike Conley
Donovan Mitchell
Joe Ingles
Nikola Mirotic
Rudy Gobert
There bench would include Jae Crowder, Grayson Allen, Raul Neto, Royce O'Neale, Georges Niang, and Tony Bradley. They'd still have the MLE to add another player (or 2) to help bolster the bench.
