Tell them to take benadryl and give it 3-4 days for the swelling to go away.

Yes, a couple times, and I did leave out the nurse suggested that.

Swelling and feeling warm are probably just local reaction to the sting.

To add to this, the swelling from a bee sting is usually at its worse at about
