You have to vote based on the info that was available at the time of the trade.
The trade was agreed upon knowing there was a possibility that AB could get into trouble at any second.

There was obviously no collusion by the traders, and that’s what the veto is designed for.

Perhaps another example:
If I traded Ekeler for say, Mark Ingram right now, then tomorrow Melvin decides to come back, the league shouldn’t veto based on the fact that that info came out after the trade was agreed upon.
