That detail makes sense. Drafting behind a group should absolutely disqualify
an official record.
I thought he’d just have a pacer running next to him.
It’s similar to the folks who use the downhill courses (such as Big Cottonwood Marathon) to achieve their PRs. Sure you ran your first sub 3hr marathon but it was on a course with 6,000’ elevation loss.
Will still be pretty cool if he can pull it off.
