They are better. Oldroyd is 13-17 with two tried from 50+ and Southam was 11-16
with none tried 50+.
Even with a perfect kicker, it is hard to say what would have happened in either game. The games would have been completely different. Does making kicks increase our chances of winning? Of course. But there are many scenarios where we would have lost both of those games even if we had a perfect kicker.
