put the packages on a porch and wait for a thief came back to a previously deposited package and, acting as a real thief, 'stole' the package himself.  Mark learned about it and apologized to the public that not every "real" theft was in fact real.  It wasn't even his fault yet he took responsibility for it anyway.  Dude is mega-smart AND nothing but class.
