Our mission president, who was a German, warned us not to go outside during the match. He was afraid some Germans would get violent with us because we were American.

We asked him what we should do. He said "watch the game." I was so excited to watch sports for the first time in 22 months. And then my zone leader called a zone meeting instead because I guess he figured he wanted us to be "productive" and apparently didn't think the mission president's idea of watching the game was productive enough.
