Whatever was built into the simulation on the website I'm using.
These simulations aren't "predictions" or "most likely" outcomes. They are simply a single randomly generated outcome from a single simulation. I could simulate this BYU v ETSU matchup thousands of times and I'm sure BYU wins 70+% of them, but in the case of this single simulation that's not what happened.
