We are delaying and reducing how overloaded the hospitals will be
Just because the hospitals will be 3-5x overloaded, doesn't mean we should just give up as the hospitals will likely become so overloaded with patients that it would almost be better to just stay home.
Plus, we get more time to create more ventillators and set up temporary medical facilities.
