There are several processes in place. First, the FDA can recall and, second
the manufacturers are under a duty to recall.
Safety and efficacy is an evolving function, not a static state.
Some of the recalls involve drugs or devices that the public such as you urged the FDA to approve to rush to market. I am not in favor of regulating via lawsuits.
