Game Changer All-American
The term "front lines" is not exclusive to war anymore. It has been used in
healthcare for decades to describe workers who have direct face-to-face contact with patients, especially initial encounters during things like pandemics and mass shootings, or a train wreck with mass casualties, stuff like that.

It's a common term in healthcare, and definitely not a new thing that has suddenly appeared during the COVID pandemic.
