the focus has been on the stimulus checks and not as much on current year tax returns.

My fed return was 2.5 wks after submitting it.

Yeah, makes sense. I submitted mine last month but maybe not early enough.

I filed on 3/26 (CARES Act signed by President on 3/27) and got my refund on 4/2
