Oh I WILL give you it’s the owners, because it IS. I meet BOTH responsible owner
With very well mannered, sweet, well behaved dogs. I also have many owners who are either lazy or ignorant about how to properly own a dog and have horrible behaved dogs. A responsible owner would know their dog was not behaving appropriately and would’ve taken their dog and left.

I’ve definitely been bitten or snapped at by many dogs who their owners thought their dog would never bite and are shocked when I tell them their precious princess bit me. Because they’re just going off of the fact their dog has never bitten them. That doesn’t mean it won’t bite others. ALL breeds will bite in the right circumstances. And MOST of those are not because the dog is mean. The majority of bites are due to fearful dogs, dogs that have not been taught bite inhibition, and dogs that have not been listened to by people through its body language warning them it didn’t want to be bothered, and those bite warning signals were ignored.
