For cycling, those "bone conduction" ones that allow you to still hear traffic
At those kinds of speeds and that kind of interaction with traffic I would feel much safer with the ones that don't go in or cover your ears. I sampled some at an airport gift shop a couple years ago and they are pretty cool.
