Pope’s coaching staff includes
One former college head coach (Evans) And two very likely college head coaches (Burgess and Fueger). They also have state of the art analytics and experienced teaching skills for frontline and perimeter players alike.

This and everything else they collectively bring to “the best locker room in America” is called a “system” and/or “identity”—-something which is sorely lacking in our football program.

The system will promote stability and growth over time. It will allow BYU to have better annual performance and support the team when they play major and elite programs (which is still above BYU’s current level).

Obviously Coach Pope has shown he can create and recruit to his system in two very different levels of institutions.

It bodes well for exciting play on the court and also has the bonus of being a very entertaining style of play.

I would love to see BYU duplicate this formula in football.

Reasonable minds can differ as to what the BYU admin would need to do to bring this to LES....
